Ronald “Jerry” Zirkle
was born and raised in Akron, Ohio in a family of eight children.Jerry learned to play the guitar as a young boy and traveled with his brother Bob ministering in music on the radio, in churches, and evangelistic meetings for over 20 years. His radio ministry has now spanned over 50 years and he is on many stations throughout the United States.
In 1978, Jerry moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended Rhema Bible Training Center. After graduating from Rhema, Jerry and his brother Jim founded Living Water Teaching Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Jim founded a large missionary outreach in Central America which was headquartered in Guatemala.
In 2000, Jerry founded Our Finest Hour Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The church built a new facility and moved to Coweta, Oklahoma in 2006.
At the Lord’s direction, Jerry stepped down as senior pastor in January 2008 and his son, Daniel, became pastor after assisting his father for 18-years.
The Lord directed Jerry to travel and minister, especially to pastors, mentoring young men and helping both new and established churches with spiritual and practical matters.
Jerry’s inner witness was confirmed by the following prophesy which came forth in a church service in August 2008:
“For you will set in order and minister to My pastors and encourage and inspire them to do what they don’t know how to do. You will equip and set in order and edify and strengthen all with miracles, signs and wonders, showing them the way of My Spirit.
